The Origin of Xuanjia
Three thousand two hundred years ago, King Wu Ding of Shang divined every matter.
War, rain, harvest, marriage, illness — he dared decide nothing alone; everything was asked of the turtle shell.
The one who presided was called the Diviner. The method: hollows drilled into the shell's back, then touched with burning charcoal. The heat burst the front into cracks — the omen. The Diviner read the omen, judged fortune, and carved the record into bone: the oracle inscription.
Most astonishing: the verification carved at the end of every bone.
After the event, the Diviner returned and engraved whether the omen came true. True — carved true. False — carved false.
Three thousand years ago, they were already auditing results.
This was not superstition — it was the first recorded, verified, tracked decision system in human history.
In 1899, the scholar Wang Yirong noticed three-thousand-year-old carvings on a medicine called "dragon bone".
One hundred and fifty thousand buried answers returned to daylight.
Every single one was a question that once kept an ancient heart awake at night.
The House of Xuanjia reads for you by that same ancient method.
You offer your birthdate; the Diviner burns the bone, reads the crack, speaks the verdict.
No records kept — as with every divination for three thousand years, it belongs only to the one who asks.
